We purchased my 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy in July 2024. After a couple of months it developed a rattle in the back end. Max's service department was extremely understanding and helpful trying to locate and fix the issue. The first two attempts did not work so when we took it back in for the third time we were told that they would not give it back until it was fixed. They gave us a brand new 2025 Palisade as a loner and ended up having my car for 3 months. They called in engineers from Hyundai to see if they were able to locate the issue. I was not thrilled that it took so long, but Joleane in the service department was so nice, and was constantly sending me updates so that I knew they were continuing to work on it. When I finally got it back, I was even refunded two months worth of payments that I had made to make up for not having my car. This was initiated by the service manager, Troy. Totally unexpected (especially since I was driving a brand new car for a loaner) but completely appreciated. I will most definitely buy another vehicle from them, for the service department alone. I absolutely love my Palisade!

I towed a vehicle in and was asked to go get it the next day. The person I delt with was Awesome!! He saw me pull up in my wrecker and brought the key out to me. Very friendly and helpful! This was the Best experience I've had with a Service Writer either dropping vehicles off or picking them up! I wish I could remember his name because I would Highly recommend that y'all give hime a raise to make sure he stays!!!

I can’t say enough bad things about my experience with Max Motors. I purchased a truck in July, was told I was being “given the best warranty they could offer.” Did not even make it home before the check engine light came on. It was after hours, so I reached out the following morning and was told it was a “soft code” and should be fine. The light stayed on, I gradually had more and more issues, had trouble nailing down the issue with multiple diesel mechanics over the last several months. Warranty denied covering anything on every occasion and was an absolute scam. I’ve dropped several thousand on this truck trying to fix issues, on top of the massive purchase price of the vehicle, and insane $6,285 warranty that was an absolute joke. This truck was purchased to PULL with, and is how I make a living. However I have not been able to pull and use it for its intended purpose. When I spoke with Brenda about the warranty, she was rude and not helpful. Otherwise I just get transferred from one voicemail to another and get the runaround. We are now back to the initial code that was thrown the day of purchase and have established the DPF system is shot and will be yet another SEVERAL THOUSAND out of pocket. If that even fixes all of the issues. They cleared the codes, sold me an outrageous warranty they knew would not cover the issues on the truck at the time of the sale, and absolutely robbed me. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. If I could give -5 stars, I would.

I wish I could give them negative stars. It started with what I thought was an easy sell. I found a car on their website. I wanted to look at it. I came in the salesman, told me the issues with it said he wouldn't recommend it to a friend or family member. I took that into account and I did not want to purchase that vehicle any longer. I gave him what I wanted in a vehicle.He found a few I test drove one I fell in love with it.We started the process. I was told that they were going through an audit and could not give me the keys today, but they took my title for my trade in car? That was on a Friday. I gave them until Monday as they said it should be ready Monday or Tuesday. I called on Monday to check the status. They didn't have an update.I waited until tuesday afternoon.Still no update, so I called again still no update. I called Wednesday. The salesman was off. I called Thursday the finance man was off and still no update. I told them that I was having second thoughts I did not wish to do this anymore. They told me that they were waiting on the bank and the bank was the one dragging their feet. So we called the credit agency asked what was taking so long. We were told by the credit agency that the dealership was missing documents, and they were trying to speak with the dealership multiple times throughout the week and they were getting no answer. So we called the dealership back after that and told them what they were missing and they said that they would figure it out and we said that we no longer wanted the vehicle. I spoke with the salesman again who told me this was past his department and we should not be speaking. He said he let the finance guy know and that he would be getting back to us. Later the salesman called me back and asked if he could bring the vehicle today bring it to me, drop it off if that would make things right(1 wk later)I told him no I wanted my title back and my spouse was on his way to get my title. Now we're fighting to get it back as it was already signed over.. I've never had such a shady experience.

Worst place to buy car, i was scammed and robbed because i bought car and they sold me warranty by telling me i have lifetime warranty ,i didn’t even drove 20000 miles and had a transmission issue and when i went back to fix it with warranty i found out I didn’t have lifetime warranty on my car because sales person told me to get lifetime warranty and i paid money and trusted them sign all paper and now they don’t want to take responsibility. Worst experience of buying car . Don't buy car from , i spent 18k for car and its a waste now, my hard earned money is gone….

If I could give this dealership a lower rating I would. They have pushed us around, made us sign 3 different times on a vehicle to get a higher interest rate out of us. If I could give this dealership a lower rating I would. They have pushed us around, made us sign 3 different times on a vehicle to get a higher interest rate out of us. The vehicle has nothing but issues and when brought in numerous times, we get told it'll get sent to a Nissan dealership to be fixed... that never happened instead their same guys look at it and try to get more money out of us. NEVER go to this dealership!! If you are a young couple they will push you around because they think you're an easy target to get loads of money from. I am now stuck in a vehicle for 6 years that has lost power steering TWICE and has caused my fiancé and I to almost get into an accident on NUMEROUS occasions and we get told it's not worth their money to figure out the issues.

Shawn Baer of Max Motors is the absolute best! Not only is he charming and hilarious, he worked out an incredible deal for us under less than perfect circumstances. We left confident and very happy with our purchase. Thank you Shawn and everyone at Max Motors for your help!
